Cette neuvième chronique présente neuf parutions récentes concernant l’Évangile de Matthieu et propose de les classer en trois grandes catégories. La première regroupe trois recueils d’articles issus de plusieurs prestigieuses universités (notamment américaines) et signés par des chercheurs déjà reconnus. La deuxième présente trois études monographiques qui interrogent les liens entre l’Évangile de Matthieu et d’autres écrits (Didachè, littérature apocalyptique et Marc), et qui tentent d’en renouveler l’interprétation généralement admise. La dernière catégorie réunit trois ouvrages qui ont choisi une approche pragmatique du texte de Matthieu, s’intéressant davantage aux interactions entre le texte et le lecteur (en termes d’impact) et faisant apparaître un net intérêt pour les processus d’interprétation des énoncés.
